The Cathedral as seen from the Back of the Church

The Cathedral as seen from the Back of the Church This is the view as seen from the back of the Cathedral. Some features of the Cathedral include the huge Corinthian columns decorated with goldleaf, the Waterford Crystal chandeliers which were donated in 1979, the beautifly carved Baroque pulpit designed by Goldie & Sons of London in 1883, and the impressive Baldachino which was constructed in 1881.

All of these features make for a very impressive Cathedral, with a history which spans over 200 years. The Cathedral itself was designed by John Roberts, who also designed Christchurch Cathedral in Waterford.
