St. Patricks Church

This is the inside of St. Patricks Church. This present structure dates back to 1750, a time when the Catholic population were persecuted for practicing their faith. It is the oldest church building in Waterford and is the oldest Catholic church in Ireland since the Protestant Reformation.

There are 2 lengths to the balconies upstairs, which run side by side. The church interior is decorated with paintings, statues and stained glass.

The picture montage on the left includes an example of the Stained Glass Windows in St. Patricks (top left), a statue of St. Patrick who name was given to the name of the church (top right) and an interior view of St. Patricks (bottom).
